Star Trek: Discovery Season 4 Episode 8 Review: All In

As most of us likely expected, the bulk of this episode focuses on the aftermath of Book’s decision to steal the prototype spore drive and head off to try and destroy the DMA on his own. Michael, naturally, is torn between her love for her partner and her duty to the Federation—whose inclination to diplomacy she fully supports in this particular instance. Though both Admiral Vance and President Rillak tell her to keep out of it, as she is obviously too close to what’s happening to be involved, Vance counts on her not listening to those instructions and manages to give her a secondary mission—tracking down some star charts from a less advanced species whose homeworld is basically across the galactic barrier from where Species 10-C exists—that allows her to go after Book anyway.

Terence Crawford dominates Errol Spence Jr to become undisputed welterweight champion with savage on

Shortly after 8.30pm in Las Vegas, the final stragglers stepped through the ropes. The lights dimmed, the noise wound up another few notches and the eyes of the world centred on two men and one ring. Inside, the eyes of Errol Spence Jr and Terence Crawford were trained on each other. At long, long last.  They had waited six years for this – so had everyone else. Now, nothing could separate the two finest welterweights of this era.

Texas county ratifies invasion declaration, as sheriff warns of cartel control of migrant flows

NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles! A Texas county this week ratified a declaration that the crisis at the southern border is an “invasion,” part of a growing push by some border officials to make a state-wide declaration — as the county’s sheriff warns of the control that cartels have of the migrant flows. Goliad County was one of a number of counties who last week declared the crisis an invasion.

The Starling Review: Melissa McCarthy Netflix Movie Doesn't Fly

The idea of three people all retreating from the world for reasons of their own and trying to help each other return is on its face a sound one, even if it’s been done many times before. So is a story about a couple dealing with the loss of their child, as devastating an event as one can imagine. But when every single scene is either played up for overwrought melodrama or, in the case of Lilly’s daily battle with the starling, bizarre humor that veers into ludicrousness (she wears a helmet and yet the tiny bird still seems capable of knocking her flat on her ass), something has gone badly off the rails.

The Times Jared Leto Has Pulled Off Eyeliner

Leto is one of the original men who made “guyliner” a thing (Adam Levine has pulled off a glam eyeliner look as well). In fact, the “Requiem of a Dream” star is no stranger to makeup of all kinds. In a tweet shared back in 2019, Leto is seen applying a few extra coats of lipstick in the midst of a crowded event. It’s a bit too dark to see what shade it is that he’s expertly applying, but the end result is without a doubt fabulous.
