Leon Bibb Biography Leon Bibb is an American journalist who is currently working as a news anchor and commentator for WKYC in Cleveland, Ohio since joining the station in 2018. Bibb was once a member of the BGSU Board of Trustees and was the first African American primetime news anchor in Ohio.
Born in Butler, Alabama, Leon was raised in Cleveland’s Glenville neighborhood where he attended Glenville High School. He went on to graduate from the School of Journalism at Bowling Green State University.
